Our Process

At Neon Reborn, quality is built into every step of our operation. Each device that
arrives at our facility undergoes a detailed intake and diagnostic assessment, where
our engineers verify its condition, confirm provenance, and identify any required
refurbishment work. This ensures every product meets our high standards for both
business and consumer customers.

Once logged, devices enter our multi-point testing and refurbishment cycle.

Hardware components — including batteries, storage, displays, cooling systems,
and ports — are rigorously tested against manufacturer specifications. Any
component that doesn’t meet performance expectations is repaired or replaced using
approved parts.

Software is also fully rebuilt, including secure data sanitisation,
firmware updates, and installation of a clean operating system.
Quality Assurance

Before any device is made available for purchase, it must pass our robust final
quality checks. Our QA team performs performance benchmarking, stress testing,
cosmetic inspection, and verification against our internal grading standards. Only
devices that meet all criteria are approved for packaging and distribution. This
ensures that every customer — business or consumer — receives a device that
performs reliably and consistently.
Grading Standards

Our grading system ensures complete transparency around cosmetic condition:

⦿ Grade A – Excellent condition with minimal signs of use.
⦿ Grade B – Very good condition with light wear.
⦿ Grade C – Noticeable wear or cosmetic imperfections, but fully functional and tested to the same standards.

All grades meet identical functional benchmarks, ensuring reliability regardless of appearance.

Our Process

Device Identification

  • Record serial number, model, and specifications (CPU, RAM, storage, screen size, etc.).
  • Verify against manufacturer databases where possible (Dell, HP, Lenovo, Apple, etc.).

Asset Tag Removal

  • Remove all corporate stickers, BIOS passwords, and security tags

Counterfeit Check

  • Ensure components are genuine (check chargers, batteries, SSDs/HDDs for authenticity).
  • Verify OS licenses (e.g., Microsoft Windows COA or digital entitlement)

Power-On Test & Battery Health

  • Ensure device boots to BIOS/UEFI without errors.
  • Record cycle count and percentage capacity.

Hardware Diagnostics

  • Run automated hardware tests (e.g., Dell SupportAssist, Lenovo Diagnostics, Apple AST, third-party tools like PassMark, BurnInTest).
  • Check CPU, RAM, storage, battery, keyboard, trackpad, ports, Wi-Fi, webcam,
